Tilapia is a freshwater fish that has a mild flavor and inexpensive. In 2016, the fish was the fourth-most consumed fish in the United States. And today,  Tilapia is farmed in over 135 countries, including in Ecuador, Peru, Mexico, Honduras, US, and Indonesia.

Tilapia contains the essential fatty acids omega-3 and omega-6 that play important parts to heart, vision, and joint health. It's also a great source of protein and low-fat.
